Everyone suffers from the pain of separation in the Snake Land where Truth traveles to find her Light. There she meets Dreamer and Split and finds out about Fusion Power, the keeper of the Unity Key, the key which leads to a place of Light. But Fusion Power is imprisoned in the Tall Tower. Truth and other inhabitants of the Snake Land were able to free Fusion Power and find Light.
The character "Disconnect" has a very important meaning in our story. The prototype of Disconnect became a family member, Adam, a boy afflicted with autism. Autism is a modern day illness, a neurological communication disorder, and in most cases an example of extreme disconnection of individual from society. But we see "Disconnect" everywhere around us, someone who sufferes from being different, either it is called racial discrimination, or being poor, or a school drop out or a gang member, or an inmate, or homeless, etc... Everyone bleeds with the pain of separation.
But why Disconnect is so important part in the quest to unity? For us autism as well as other so called "disconnects" is a result, not a cause, for us it is a reflection of extreme separation between human beings in our world, which we can not heal from the begining of times - it screams to us in pain to find Unity. And through this pain we know that something is not exactly right, and through this pain we are looking for an answer. An the end of the book it is "Disconnect" who Connects it all, Tall Tower crumbles and Truth finds her Light and becomes the Greater Truth.
