Learn through Animation: program for youngsters
This program is designed by Dance into Unity's educator and artist of animation Masha Vasilkovsky together with a renowned mime Ognian Hristov. The program helps individuals to get in touch with their creativity, developing focus, sense of self worth and motivation to excel in education.

About Ognian Hristov
Master of Pantomime and Principles of Movement, Ognian “Oggie” Hristov received his training at the State Institute of Mime and Entertainment in Moscow, Russia, the Theatrical Mime Studio in Sofia, Bulgaria, and the Puppet Studio Theatre in Sofia, Bulgaria. He has performed leading rolls extensively throughout Europe, Israel, Russia, and the USA both as a mime artist and clown character. “Oggie” has been the recipient of numerous awards such as the Actor’s Excellence Award by the International Stunts Festival for Theatrical Arts, Moscow, and the AITA International Festival, Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, and the Engibarov’s second prize at the International Arts Festival, Moscow.
Ognian “Oggie” Hristov is currently on faculty at the prestigious Governor’s School for the Arts in Norfolk Virginia and the Renaissance School in Smithfield, Virginia. Previously, “Oggie” was the Producer, Director and Owner of two theatrical schools for children, one in Sofia, Bulgaria and the other in Harare, Zimbabwe.
About Masha Vasilkovsky
Masha Vasilkovsky learned animation first at the "Rhod Island School of Design" (BFA 1995), and later at the "California Institute of the Arts" (MFA in experimental animation 1998). After her graduation in 1998, she animated some independant productiong, including "Tell Me Cuba" (1996) by Megan Williams, "II Doctor" (2005) by Suzan Pitt, "Drawing Lessons" (2005) and "Mistaken Identity" (2000) by Maureen Selwood. She is currently animating "As You Desire Me" by Maureen Selwood.
Teaching various art and animation classes around Los Angeles, Masha most appreciated being an instructor for such programs as "Animation as Art" for the Character Animation Department at CalArts and "21st Century Art" held at the MOCA Museum by East Los Angeles College.
Being a student, Masha made a few animated 16mm shorts, such as "At Home" (1999), "Mama" (1994), and "Fur and Furthers" (2000), which won first prize at the "Red Shift Animation Festival" in New York (2004). You can view these works at Masha' website http://www.sparksociety.com/
